I would like to share with you my Kickstarter campaign, because I know that it will be well received here, since you all know how difficult it is more than ever to be an independent and completely autonomous artist today. I will not support a platform like Amazon which feeds on the backs of poor people, nor even mainstream publishers who have not been doing their job for a long time, which is why I chose self-publishing 12 years ago now. I have been working on my own universe for 30 years but this last year with the arrival of AI has been catastrophic for independent artists like me, my etsy shop is running more and more slowly, drowned under a mountain of sadly generated images and without soul, part of which moreover are with prompts, stealing my name and a part of me. My visibility is fading under the frightening number of images generated by AI but presented under my name and as for my commitment to fair regulation in favor of artists, it means that I appear as a ghost on the social networks ; my voice being drowned out by these same AIs and those so devoted to them. Through 30 years of hard work I have managed to maintain a certain freedom, most of the time, by refusing to give in to the sirens of profit to give life to the fire that animates me, but for the first time I feel a void forming around me, like many friends and more widely around us artists and I don't really know what to think about it anymore, but clearly I don't like what I sense coming. I therefore humbly ask you to support my campaign, share it widely on your networks or even participate in it because my work is no longer enough to make my voice clearly heard, we must show them that we are always present and that we will not give up...

Je me permets de partager avec vous ma campagne Kickstarter, car je sais qu'elle sera ici bien acceuillie, puisque vous savez tous à quel point il est difficile plus que jamais d'être aujourd'hui un artiste indépendant et complètement autonome. Je ne nourrirai pas une plateforme comme Amazon qui se nourrit sur le dos des pauvres gens, ni même les editeurs courants qui ne font plus depuis longtemps leur travail c'est pourquoi j'ai choisi l'auto edition il y a maintenant 12 ans. Je travaille sur mon propre univers depuis 30 ans mais cette dernière année avec l'arrivé de L'IA a été catastrophique pour les artistes indépendants comme moi, mon etsy shop tourne de plus en plus lentement, noyé sous une montagne d'images tristement générées et sans âme, dont une partie d'ailleurs le sont avec des prompts, volant mon nom et une partie de moi. Ma visibilité s'étiole sous le nombre effrayant d'images générées par l'IA mais présentées sous mon nom et quant à mon engagement pour une juste régulation en faveur des artistes, elle me vaut de ne plus apparaître que comme un fantôme sur les réseaux sociaux. Ma voix étant étouffée par ces mêmes IA et par ceux qui leurs sont si dévoués. Par 30 ans de dur labeur j'ai réussi à conserver une certaine liberté, la plupart du temps, en refusant de céder aux sirènes du profit pour donner vie au feu qui m'anime, mais pour la première fois je sens un vide se former autour de moi et autour de nous les artistes et je ne sais plus trop ce que je dois en penser, mais clairement je n'aime pas ce que je sens venir.
Je vous demande donc humblement de porter ma campagne de la partager sur vos réseaux largement ou même d'y participer car mon travail ne suffit plus à faire attendre clairement ma voix, nous devons leur montrer que nous sommes toujours présents et que nous ne lâcherons rien...
